Square Format
I’ve heard people decry the use of the square format – in fact one of my very long standing friends in the world of photography positively hates anything SQUARE and in particular anything with the subject in the centre or with symmetry. Permajet Products
I always use PermaJet papers for my images and they give superb results in my Exhibition work. Mostly I use Smooth Art Silk and the textured fine art series of papers, which suit my work well. If you are unsure which paper to buy, PermaJet also do sample packs to help you to find your favourite papers and you can download free ICC profiles from the web site (see links below). BPE Exhibitions List
“The BPE exists to encourage photographers to enter exhibitions and to recognize successful entrants via the issue of the Crown Awards photographic distinctions. Exhibition members share ideas, promote each other’s exhibitions and generally work together to promote competitive photography.” The BPE has an award system in which points are accumulated as work is accepted into the various sections of “qualifying” exhibitions. The BPE awards are known as ‘crowns’, the lowest being BPE* (25 points) and the highest BPE5* (300 points).
