HDR Photography – Oloneo HDRengine versus Photoshop CS5
It’s quite a while now since I did any comparative work on HDR. I have previously superficially examined Photomatix V3 and Picturenaut. For some time after that, I mostly used Photomatix version 3. I never upgraded to version 4 because, by that time, I had found that Photoshop’s HDR engine was relatively easy to use and worked seamlessly with Lightroom. Pentax K-30 and the tantalising K-3 rumour
Pentax Dslr users have to be a very patient bunch of people, as the company has had so many ups and downs over the years. New Pentax Dslr models tend to be released only about every two years. The K-5 was heralded as “one of the best APS-C DSLRs currently on the market” but it wasn’t a big enough leap ahead from the K-7 to persuade me to spend my hard saved cash and upgrade. This week’s doodles
With Impact Group’s meeting coming up on Weds, I’ve struggled to make time for some new images! Membership of the group encourages the appraisal of up to 6 new images per month and this month I’ve left it a bit late, so it’s all been a bit rushed. These are 6 new doodles, all processed over the last few nights, three straight photos and three composites.
