Edinburgh Fringe Pictures
I accompanied three more photographers to see the start of the Edinburgh festival this year. Our favourite location during the Festival is the Royal Mile, a main street in the old part of the city that runs from Holyrood Palace up to the Castle. During Festival month it is populated with street artists and groups of actors from the Fringe shows, all eager to tell you about their performance and to put a leaflet in your hands. The beautiful Jurassic Coast near Burton Bradstock
Close to the picturesque village of Burton Bradstock, in West Dorset is a lovely stretch of golden sand and 160 ft high cliffs, whose beauty belies their danger. Much of the cliffs are unstable and, after heavy rainfall, the cliffs are prone to landslip. Last year a young woman was killed by a landslip whilst walking on the beach below the cliffs. This year another landslip left a dangerous overhang at East Cliff, between West Bay and Freshwater Bay. The coast path between Cliff Road at Burton and Hive Beach has recently been re-routed by the National Trust to keep walkers away from the cliff edge. The cliffs, which are…

Medieval Fayre
Tatton Park hosted their annual Medieval Fayre on 16th June, including music, demonstrations, stalls and a mock battle at the end of the day. Here is just a taster of pictures from the event.
