The BPE Associateship

The National Exhibitions which are members of the BPE (British Photographic Exhibitions) offer a Crown award system to reward photographers for success in having works accepted for national exhibitions. Up to and including the 5 crown award, a photographer must have a minimum of 300 accepted works in member exhibitions.

Those achieving the 5 Crown Award are then invited to move on to the Associateship  Award, which requires a minimum of a further 100 acceptances in members exhibitions plus twenty national awards using at least 10 different pieces of work, all to be gained after achieving the 5 Crown Award.

I was very pleased to be awarded the Associateship in March of this year. My twenty awards were divided between fifteen pieces of work, which I have shown in the gallery below.

A very few photographers have achieved the top level of the Fellowship and that is what I shall be working towards next.
