Season of Mist
We’ve had a wonderful few days of early autumn sunshine but this morning brought our first autumnal fog. A little exposure compensation is needed for taking pictures in fog as the automatic metering in the camera integrates to grey, so I added one stop and that seemed about right. I didn’t find the conditions spectacular as they can be during a temperature inversion, but I love Saddleworth Moor and Binn Green, so I just captured a few pictures. Click to enlarge.

Fellowship BPE presentation
Spent a lovely afternoon on Saturday at the sRGB Group Exhibition in Southport, shared lunch with good friends and was presented with my Fellowship BPE Award. Thanks to Terry Donnelly for providing the photograph. Terry was also presented with his FBPE award on the same day…which was nice! Thank you to all my friends for their support and their many kind words on social media. Here’s a Gallery link to the some of the images that I used to gain the award. For anyone wishing to apply for BPE awards, the information about requirements is on the BPE Web Site.

Classic in Crimson
It’s been a while since I posted anything creative, so here is one I made during the summer…a little more like my usual style, entitled “Classic in Crimson”.
