Saddleworth Winter
It’s a few weeks since I took some landscape photographs, so, when the opportunity arrived to photograph some snow, I didn’t want to miss it. By the time we arrived at Dovestone Reservoir, just a five minute drive away, the light had already gone from the valley, as the sun had dipped below the summit of Noonsun Hill, putting all the right hand side of my subject in shade.
Another five minute drive to Binn Green, high above the reservoir, ensured a bit more sunlight, and we spent a lovely half hour or so photographing light on the rocks there. Below are my favourites from the shoot.
