Flowers

Blending textures with photographs has been a favourite technique of mine for some years, though many of my textures are more subtle than this one. I liked the way the colours in the chosen background textures echoed the colours of the vase. A recent competition image, Gerbera received an HM ribbon, Judge’s medal and PSA Gold medal for best in show in its first outing to the Great British Small Prints international.

Sunflowers, below, was made using the same technique.
