Who we are

Website address: http://christinewiddall.co.uk
The personal website of Christine Widdall, UK photographer.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it:

Photographs of you

From time to time, I publish photographs of people that I have taken at various events, which may be changed or unchanged from the original. In general, there is no personal data attached to these photographs other than that you may be recognised with face detection software. Occasionally the subject of the photograph will be named.

Contact forms

If you fill out a contact form, an email will be sent to me, containing your name and email address and any other personal information that you have provided. This may be stored indefinitely unless you request that it be removed from my system.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. (In most cases comments are not activated on pages).

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

Data collected may be retained indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that I erase any personal data held about you, including your email address and other personal data included as a result of filling in a contact form. If I have published a picture of you that you no longer wish to see on this website, please let me know and I will remove the photograph within 30 days. Please give as much information as you can about where you saw the picture to help me to identify it.
